Foundations

Being Asian I have a skin tone which is generally very hard to find a matching foundation for. I have tried everything under the sun, from the high end ones like Chantecaile to cheaper ones like Rimmel.

Finally I have found one which suits my skin tone and doesn't make me look too orange or too caked.

Giorgio Armani ***
I tried the Giorgio Armani Counter, the girl was lovely and even gave me samples to take away, but I found that the silky foundation came off in my hands and made me feel like I was melting and also not enough coverage. For those who like a very light coverage then the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk foundation is the one for you! it is very very light and feels like you are wearing nothing at all! I also tried the lasting silk foundation, again the coverage was too light and the texture was the same as the luminous silk foundation.
However good points about the Lasting Silk was that there was SPF 20, perfect for those who want to protect there skin from the sun!
At £33 a pop I thought it was a pretty reasonable price!

Bobbi Brown *****
I ventured my way around to the Bobbi brown counter and found my perfect match, Nautral Finish, Long Lasting foundation with SPF 15 in Warm Ivory. The colour matches my skin tone perfectly and is very good for long lasting. I have had the make up on since 11am this morning and I still very much have a face intact. The foundation only cost me £29 which is a bargain considering how good it is!
The make up isn't heavy and doesnt make you look like your caked in make up. it give the perfect coverage and is just generally very good! Definately full marks!
